Day 2, Another day at THAILAND which is often called the "land of smiles," not only because visitors love its natural beauty and historical riches, but also because of the country's friendly people and fascinating culture. So let's start with our nature adventure :)
Where to ride an elephant, how to ride an elephant, and where to hug and kiss a baby elephant are the musings.
I really love elephant and i dream to meet, touch and ride on them and dreams come true! :)
Say hello to our dearest friend, TONGKAM (name of the elephant).
Okay, i dont know how to project with TONGKAM but definitely i love her company haha! Animal lover isn't? lol.
Anyway, this man also sells some ivory jewelries such as pendant like around 200 baht, pendant w/ necklace 450 baht, bracelets etc. but Carissa and I decided to buy the horn- styled pendent as a symbol of our friendship.
TONGKAM with my dearest girl friend, Carissa ♥
So next stop.. "Samphran Elephant Ground & Zoo" which is located to the west of Bangkok in Nakhon Pathom province. It's popular sightseeing destination for both adults and children alike.
The elephants are the stars of the show where they dance, race, play football and games, a royal battle scene which is called "Yutha Hathi" with corresponding actors such as Kings etc..
Soccer time! GO PHILIPPINES! haha..
They do also have crocodile show but I'm sorry to say that I didn't enjoy it.
Next stop, "Damnoensaduak Floating Market" or also known as the traditional way of buying market goods while riding the boat. You can buy all the touristy and regular stuff that you can buy in Bangkok like assorted silk products, local handicrafts, assorted national Thai and regional Thai foods and street foods, local textiles and shirts and garments (souveiners), assorted tropical fruits like mangos, pineapples, dragon fruit, lansones etc..
